Once again our good friend and long time supporter
Mr. Andy Huebschmann of
Sunny Hill Enterprises,
maker of last year's chapter rifle, is again coordinating the
construction of the current rifle.
This year’s custom rifle will be a deer classic: a pre-64
Winchester
Mod. 70 chambered in a .270
WSM. The rifle’s slender sporter barrel and
classic lines will be enhance a walnut stock and ebony forend. Renowned
Gunsmith Winston Elrod will build the rifle.
Sunny Hill Enterprises is donating the bottom metal, sling swivels
and skeleton grip cap along with the gunsmith expertise. The
estimated value of this rifle will be $9,000.
To help the Chapter with our
Wildlife Conservation and Hunter’s Rights advocacy we are looking
for a stock blank donation to complete this project.
