2009 - 2010 Hunters Rights Coalition Topics

•       Streamlining regulations for hunting, fishing and trapping. Make it easier to begin hunting and easier to continue hunting.
•       Assist in development of hunter/trapper bill of rights.
•       Youth mentored hunting legislation.
•       Proper development of rules to implement the recently passed stewardship language.
•       Head off potential non-access to national lands (roadless initiative).
•       Improve access to public (state and county) land in Wisconsin.
•       Official state effort to improve recruitment and retention including hiring of a recruitment office within the DNR.
•       Address CWD.
•       Reciprocal and reduced youth small game licenses.
•       Push for accountability and prioritization in use of sportsmen dollars. More oversight within DNR over fish and wildlife accounts
•       Revitalization/reform of Conservation Congress.
